Information

dating: about 1855 provenance: Paris, Octagonal, rifled, 8 mm cal. barrel, signed 'Houllier Blanchard à Paris', browned and finely engraved at the base and at the nozzle, with foresight; engraved and browned six-shot cylinder, with serial number '13xx'. Lock plate engraved and with the same serial number. Flat hammer. Lever to quickly remove the barrel and change the cylinder. Folding trigger. Saw-butt with checkered and carved wooden grips. Kept in a burgundy velvet-lined wooden case, with a (defective) iron ramrod/nipple wrench and a rare brass powder-tester with scale wheel and wooden grip.
