dating: 18th Century provenance: Germany, Straight, double-edged blade, ribbed at the center, hexagonal and provided with fuller at the forte, the forte also decorated with engravings of trophies, vases and architectural motifs, with anthropomorphic sun and the marking 'FREDERICO PICHINIO' on both sides; remains of gilding. Pitting andprobably a small missing part at the tip. Gilded bronze hilt with two-valve butt-plate decorated with rocaille in relief; hilt, crossbar, pommel, and guard all worked en suite with shells in relief. length 89,5 cm.
