dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Italy, Short, smoothbore, round, 17 mm cal. barrel, with square base, remains of a mark at the base; smooth tang. Forward spring lock converted to percussion and with a Piedmontese mark. Wooden butt with brass mounts, the base of the trigger guard made of iron, barrel bracket near the nozzle, with sight. Iron ramrod. length 72 cm.
