dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan, Made of wood, with body shaped as a truncated cone, red-lacquered inside, long shaft of rectangular section; all decorated with Raden (black-lacquered and decorated with a lot of tiny mother-of-pearl pieces, some missing parts). Rare. Late Edo period. Too to give water to horses. length 61.5 cm.
