Straight double-edged blade of hexagonal section at the first part, with damask-like decoration at the center, remains of browning at the sides, then grooved and decorated with engravings en suite. Areas with rust damage. Silver handle of typical shape decorated with filigree, the open-works with mother-of-pearl decorations. Wooden scabbard covered with silver foil finely nielled and engraved with floral motifs and with beaded bands, the open-works lined with mother-of-pearl plates (one with crack), a silver plaque with yellow gold name "I. Haiatov" in relief near the chape. Smooth at the back, decorated with niello floral motifs, a short inscription in Arabic and the date '19-09' above, monogram 'P.X.', 'CAUCASO' and 'shusha' in Cyrillic below. A very rare and unusual kindjal with mother-of-pearl decorations.
