Single-edged spearhead. Richly engraved at the front side, with a pattern of racemes featuring a remarkable cartouche dated '1586' and the ducal crown, which surmounts the inscription 'WIHB' (Willhelm Herzog Bayern) and the shield with the ancient Bavarian arms of the Wittelsbachs. With a small still life depicting fruit and large letters marked 'L R' on the lower part. All engraved on a recessed and blackened background. Smooth rear side. Squared ferrule decorated with notches at the corners. A molded frame at the base. Iron bands of medium length. Wooden shaft of octagonal section of later production.
