Round, rifled, 7-1/2 inch barrel (clean bore, still visible rifling) , with browning, provided with sight and marked "- COLTíS PT. F. A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. -", and "45 COLT." on the left side, marked on the lower side and with the writing: "45' 1.28'' 6.3 GRS N.C 255 GRS" and the mark of the London test bench. Grooved, six-shot cylinder. Frame marked with 1871, 1872 and 1875 patents in two lines and with mark of the prancing horse. Serial number "207xxx" on the frame, trigger guard and grip. With the mark of the London test bench on the frame. Checkered hard-rubber grips with a horse in relief. Light remains of tortoiseshell on the frame and remains of finishing on the trigger guard. Well working mechanism.
