Round, rifled, 20" barrel, provided with sight and a foldaway, adjustable rear sight, featuring a two-line marking, the first with the company address, the second marked "ELLIOT'S PATENT" and patents of 1883, "44 Cal." calibre marking at the base, on the left side. Bore with some stains and signs of use inside, visible rifling. Two barrel brackets bands, one with loop. Frame with clearly-visible, engraved prancing horse, lower tang with serial number "18xxx" (!). The surface of the steel parts is heavily stained and with almost completely faded browning, but with no pitting, the surfaces are still smooth. Small areas of pitting on the upper tang of the frame, at the butt plate and at the nozzle. Smooth butt, checkered fore-end, both made walnut wood, with signs of use and time. Well working mechanism. Safety lock for the pump loading system located beside the trigger guard. Saddle ring.
