Born on November 9, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, Lou Ferrigno showed a passion for bodybuilding from a young age. Growing up, he faced unique challenges due to hearing loss resulting from a childhood infection. He has won numerous titles, including Mr. America and Mr. Universe, establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in the bodybuilding world . Although already famous in the bodybuilding world, Lou Ferrigno achieved international fame in 1978 when he was cast as the Hulk in the television series "The Incredible Hulk." The series, based on the Marvel comic book character, saw Ferrigno don a green bodysuit and become the iconic figure of the giant green man. His performance captured the public's imagination, making the Hulk a cultural icon and solidifying Ferrigno's fame as an actor. In addition to "The Incredible Hulk," Lou Ferrigno has had a varied career, appearing in films, TV series, and even reality TV competitions such as "Celebrity Apprentice." He also provided the voice of the Hulk in several animated films and video games, continuing to be associated with the character for decades.
