Lothar Matthäus is a former German footballer, known for being one of the most complete midfielders in the history of football. He played for clubs such as Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning numerous national and international trophies. Matthäus won the 1990 FIFA World Cup with the German national team, where he was also captain and a key player of the tournament. He is known for his leadership, his technical talent and his ability to dominate the midfield. After retiring, he embarked on a coaching career, working at various teams in Europe and other parts of the world.
