Baseball autographed by Joe DiMaggio, certified by Beckett and housed in a display case supported by a gold glove.
Born November 25, 1914, in Martinez, California, Joseph Paul DiMaggio, nicknamed "Joltin' Joe," "the Yankee Clipper," and "Joe D." , was a legendary American baseball player who spent his entire 13-year Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees.
The son of Italian immigrants, DiMaggio is considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, most famous for setting the record for the longest consecutive hitting streak in baseball history (56 games from May 15 to July 16, 1941) , a record that still stands today.
DiMaggio was also known for his charm and good looks, which made him a celebrity beyond the baseball world. He had two famous marriages: to actress Dorothy Arnold from 1939 to 1944 and to the legendary Marilyn Monroe from 1954 to 1955.
