Giuseppe Bergomi, known as "Beppe", is a former Italian footballer and one of the most iconic defenders in the history of Italian football. He spent his entire professional career with Inter Milan, becoming one of the club's longest-serving and most loyal players. Bergomi is known for his defensive solidity, his positional sense and his leadership on the pitch. He won numerous trophies with Inter, including Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Cup titles. Bergomi also represented the Italian national team, winning the 1982 FIFA World Cup. After retiring, he pursued a career as a television pundit and sports commentator.
