Cristiano Ronaldo, full name Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, is a Portuguese footballer born on 5 February 1985 in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the best footballers in the history of football and has had a significant impact on several teams and competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo began his professional career with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, but his talent attracted the attention of Manchester United in England. He played for Manchester United from 2003 to 2009, winning several titles, including three Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League in 2008.
In 2009, Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid for a then-record fee. During his time at Real Madrid, Ronaldo achieved extraordinary heights, winning four consecutive Champions Leagues from 2013 to 2018, becoming the club's all-time top scorer. He also won four Ballon d'Ors while playing for Real Madrid.
