Pierre-Emerick Emiliano François Aubameyang (Laval, 18 June 1989) is a French naturalized Gabonese footballer who plays as a forward for Chelsea. After starting out at various French clubs, he emerged at Saint-Étienne where he became a key element of the team that won the Coupe de la Ligue in the 2012-2013 edition. In 2013 he moved to Borussia Dortmund, where, under the guidance of coach Jürgen Klopp, he was transformed from a winger into a pure striker: in the five-year period in Dortmund he won two consecutive DFL-Supercups (2013 and 2014) and a DFB-Pokal (2016-2017) , establishing himself among the most prolific attackers in Europe and becoming top scorer in the Fußball-Bundesliga in the 2016-2017 edition. From 2018 to 2022 he played for Arsenal, winning an FA Cup (2019-2020) and a Community Shield (2020). At an international level, in 2009 he made his debut with the Gabonese national team, with which he took part in three final stages of the African Cup of Nations, of which he was top scorer in 2012, and in the London 2012 Olympic tournament.
