Mattia Perin (Latina, 10 November 1992) is an Italian footballer and goalkeeper for Juventus. He played in all the national youth teams from the Under-17s - with whom he played in the World Cup in 2009 - to the Under-21s: with the latter he made his debut at the age of 17, on 11 August 2010. He was called up for the first time in the senior national team by coach Cesare Prandelli, during the friendly match against England on 15 August 2012 in Bern. Also from Prandelli he was called up for the 2014 World Cup, as third goalkeeper behind Gianluigi Buffon and Salvatore Sirigu: he was the first Genoa goalkeeper to be called up for a World Cup in the history of the club. He made his national team debut at the age of 22, during the management of Antonio Conte, coming on in the second half of the Italy-Albania friendly match (1-0) played on 18 November 2014 in Genoa.
