Massimo Ambrosini (Pesaro, 29 May 1977) is a former Italian footballer, who played as a midfielder. He grew up in the youth sector of Cesena, in his career as a footballer he linked his name to Milan, a team for which he played seventeen seasons between the nineties and two thousand and ten, becoming captain after Paolo Maldini's farewell in 2009. He won with the Rossoneri the European champion titles in 2003 and 2007, the club world championship in 2007 and four Serie A championships. With the Italian national team he was European vice champion in 2000.
