Literature
Kalidou Koulibaly (born 20 June 1991 in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges) is a Senegalese footballer who plays as a defender. Considered one of the best defenders of his generation, after starting his football career in Metz, in 2012 he moved to Belgian club Genk, with whom, in two years, he won a Belgian Cup (2012-2013). From 2014 to 2022 he played for Napoli; with the Neapolitan team he won an Italian Super Cup (2014) and an Italian Cup (2019-2020). On 16 July 2022 he was purchased outright, for 38 million euros, by Chelsea who, however, just a year later sold him to Al-Hilal, a team from the Saudi Professional League. With his national team he won the African Nations Cup in 2022.
