İlkay Gündoğan (born 24 October 1990 in Gelsenkirchen) is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for Barcelona and the German national team. After his youth in Bochum and the move to Nuremberg, on 5 May 2011 he signed a four-year contract with Borussia Dortmund, a team with which he won a German championship and a German cup.
