Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. (Grand Rapids, February 24, 1977) is a former American boxer. He won the bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and as a professional was WBC champion in five different weight categories. In 2017, after fighting his last match against Conor McGregor, he finished his career with a record of 50 victories and zero defeats. Considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, he is also one of the highest earning athletes in history:in the decade between 2010 and 2019, Forbes calculated his earnings at around $915 million.
