Enzo Ferrari (Modena, 20 February 1898 – Modena, 14 August 1988) was an Italian entrepreneur and racing driver, founder of the car company of the same name ( in 1947 in Maranello) and its sports section, the Scuderia Ferrari. Legendary figure not only for the automotive sector,in 1969, faced with financial difficulties, Ferrari was forced to sell a share of his company to Fiat which, initially present as an equal partner, later assumed control. Manufacturer of high-end sports and competition cars and involved in motor racing, to date Ferrari is the most successful in the Formula One world championship, where it has won fifteen drivers' titles and sixteen constructors' titles.
