Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, better known as Cristiano Ronaldo (Funchal, 5 February 1985), is a Portuguese footballer, striker for Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team, of which he is captain and with which he won the European championship in 2016 and won the 2018-2019 UEFA Nations League. Nicknamed CR7 because of his shirt number, he is considered one of the best footballers of all time. He is also the most prolific goalscorer in the history of football, as well as the record holder for appearances and goals in national football teams. He is part of the small circle of players with at least 1000 career appearances, in which he is the striker with the highest number of appearances. During his career he wore the shirts of Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, winning five UEFA Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups and four FIFA Club World Cups at international level. He holds the record for appearances, goals and assists in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA club competitions. He has appeared continuously in the Ballon d'Or rankings since 2004, winning it five times and has been awarded four Golden Boots. With the Juventus shirt he won two Italian Championships (2018-2019, 2019-2020); 2 Italian Super Cups (2018, 2020) and one Italian Cup (2020-2021).
