Literature
Ciro Immobile (Torre Annunziata, 20 February 1990) is an Italian footballer, striker for Lazio and the Italian national team, with whom he became European champion in 2021. Raised in the youth sectors of Sorrento first and then Juventus, he emerges among the ranks of Pescara and Turin, winning with the latter two top scorer titles, respectively in Serie B (2011-2012) and in Serie A (2013-2014). At Lazio he triumphed three more times in the Serie A scoring charts (2017-2018, 2019-2020 and 2021-2022) - becoming the first Italian footballer to win the title of top scorer four times - and once in the UEFA Europa ranking League (2017-2018): he also becomes the best scorer ever for the Biancoceleste team in all competitions. In terms of palmarès, with the Biancoceleste club he includes an Italian Cup (2018-2019) and two Italian Super Cups (2017 and 2019), while previously he had won a German Super Cup (2014) with Borussia Dortmund and a Serie B championship (2011-2012) with Pescara. In the 2019-2020 championship he equaled the record of goals scored in Serie A in a single season, 36, the same ones that earned him the Golden Shoe victory. For the national team he recorded 16 goals in 56 appearances.
