Literature
Carlo Ancelotti (Reggiolo, 10 June 1959) is an Italian football coach and former footballer, a midfielder and coach of Real Madrid. As a player he made his debut in Serie C with Parma, and then moved first to Roma, with whom he won a Serie A championship and the Italian Cup four times, and then to Milan, with whom he won two championships, an Italian Super Cup, two European Cups, two UEFA Super Cups and two Intercontinental Cups. He is the only coach in the history of football to have won the title in the five main European championships (Italy, England, France, Germany and Spain), the only one to have won the UEFA Champions League four times (twice with Milan and two with Real Madrid), as well as the only coach to have participated in five finals of Europe's top club competition. He also holds the record for most UEFA Super Cup successes (four) and shares the record for club world championships (three) with Carlos Bianchi and Josep Guardiola. Finally, he is the coach who has won the most Champions League matches (103) and the most UEFA club competitions, 9, won with Milan, Real Madrid and Juventus. He made 26 appearances and one goal with the Italian national team, with which he took part (although without taking the field) in the 1986 world championship and, subsequently, in the 1988 European championship and the 1990 world championship.
