Alberto Gilardino (Biella, 5 July 1982) is an Italian football coach and former player, playing as an attacker and coach of Genoa. As a player he was world champion with the Italian national team in 2006. He occupies tenth position in the ranking of the best scorers in Serie A, tied with Giuseppe Signori and Alessandro Del Piero.[3] With Milan, the team for which he played from 2005 to 2008, he won a UEFA Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.
