There are aspects of Surrealism that are even more surprising because they can be found in the most unexpected contexts: this is the case with this photograph that Florence Henri took for the advertisement of the La Lune pasta factory. Here the product does not appear as one would expect at the centre of interest and in fact the gaze is directed towards the enlargement of a part of the company logo, which thus comes alive, creating a situation that is apparently playful, but also tinged with a sense of unease because the appeal to the pleasure of food is replaced by attention to the geometric form of the composition.
