Born in Lithuania but settled in Moscow, Galina Moskaleva has been a teacher, journalist and curator, but it is as a photographer that she has come to the fore with projects that are also complex from a philosophical point of view, as is evident in these image from a series she has been working on for over ten years investigating memory. She does this by revisiting old photographs inherited from her father, which she transforms by making them her own and intervening on the prints to make them fit the projects she is working on.
