Meticulous and detailed oriented, rigorous in his choice of materials and settings that he knows how to recreate with great skill, Paolo Ventura’s works lie between photography and pictorial art. In fact, they look like paintings or illustrations but are instead photographic images that he creates searching for rarefied atmospheres. The study of light that characterises 'The Automaton' and the dreamlike sense found in 'Winter Stories' are two examples of his unique style.
