Davide Mosconi, a singular figure of a multifaceted artist linked in the same measure to the world of music as to that of photography (before opening his own studio in Milan, he was Richard Avedon's assistant in New York) has always dedicated himself to research on language, as in this case. At first glance, this diptych appears to be a shot of a night sky dotted with the stars of some distant galaxy, whereas it is a photograph of two large sheets of black cardboard on which the author has scattered dust from the working of hard and precious stones.
