Original large-format illustration created by Folon for the famous silkscreen entitled "Le rêve de pierre", printed by the Atelier Jacques Marquet in Paris and published by Olivetti in 1970. Work published in the exhibition catalogue "L'illustrazione racconta: la collezione Cereda" on page 30, published by the Peano Foundation in 2022. One of the most iconic images of Folon's entire production: << Where does Mr. Folon's little blue man live? He lives in a landscape full of watercolor glazes, between mountains as vague as theatrical backdrops and colorful deserts. He is alone, desperately alone. He almost always stares lost into space like someone who struggles to recognize a friendly face or a familiar landscape. The horizon line becomes confused for him as in early myopia: the contours fade decisively into the indefinite. >> Slight abrasions at the corners, small folds and two small tears at the right margin, missing at the lower right corner. Signed, dated and dedicated to friend, writer, poet and journalist Giorgio Soavi.
