Original illustration made by the Czech master Burian published for the first time in the volume "Il cavallo e l'uomo" in the series Guarda e scopri gli animali vol. 22 on pages 28 and 29 by AMZ in 1972. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Burian began his career as a prehistoric illustrator in the early 1930s, but it was after meeting the paleontologist Josef Augusta in 1935, for whose publications he served as an illustrator, that he quickly became one of the most appreciated paleoartists in the world, so much so that in 2017 he was honored to give his name to a new dinosaur specimen found in the Czech Republic, the Burianosaurus. Posting holes in the upper corners and slight traces of humidity in the lower left corner. A museum piece by one of the greatest European illustrators of the 20th century. Signed.
