Preliminary study made by Magnus as the very first version of his unfinished masterpiece "Il Conte Notte". In a dark Venice, out of time, besieged by water, pollution and tourists, a mysterious and disturbing character appears: Il Conte Notte. A reincarnated, a zombie, or rather, an undead who as an avenging angel returns among the living to atone for his sins and to claim revenge. A character completely anomalous for the stereotypes of use. Death, love, magic and mysticism had to be the ingredients of this work of his where the atmospheres, even chromatic ones, could act as a "spirit guide" for the reader.
