Original illustration made by Pratt for the "Dossier Djibouti", a set of images in which the Master of Malamocco, the man of inks, of black signs thick and dense as bitumen, reveals himself as liquid, open, ethereal, almost adolescent, when he sketches distant landscapes and men in uniform, reminiscences perhaps of his childhood in the Horn of Africa following his family to Abyssinia. This illustration was published in the volume Periplo Immaginario on page 167 by Lizard in 2005.
