Sunday comic strip from 02/19/1911 for "Howson Lott". From 1909 to 1914 Opper devoted himself, together with Happy Hooligan, to the creation of a mysterious and little-known strip: "Howson Lott", this series was born as a satire towards the new trend of the American middle class to move from the city to the countryside, which appeared in Italy on the pages of CdP with the name of "Bonifazio and Panciolini". In this witty Sunday comic strip the visceral hatred of the two protagonists is staged, visually rendered by Opper in a brilliant way. Some missing parts and tears in the margins. Very rare to find. Signed.
