Original cel made by Studio Disney as illustration n. 27 for the book "Mickey Never Fails" published by DC Heath and Company in 1939. For the printing of this book Disney decided to adopt an innovative printing system using painted cels coming from its Walt Disney Ink and Paint Department, this method gave to the printed illustrations in more vibrant colors than traditional illustration methods, and the images more accurately emulated the cartoons seen on the big screen.
