Original cel on a reproduced backdrop for Jean Sibelius's "Valzer triste", one of the most touching and famous animated episodes of "Allegro non Trouble", a film produced and directed by Bruno Bozzetto in 1976. A cat wanders around a ruined house, thinking wistfully of a past that no longer exists. His memories seem to come to life and become reality, igniting his hopes, but every time they disappear within a few moments, plunging the poor animal back into a reality of devastated desolation. In reality, even the cat is nothing more than a memory of the past, destined to vanish when the house is definitively demolished. Milestone of Italian and European animation, a response of the highest technical and artistic level to Disney's "Fantasia".
