Knerr's Sundays are of great rarity, officially replacing his colleague Dirks in 1914, forcing the latter to continue the publication of the series in the New York World, changing its title to The Captain and the Kids. Knerr personally colored very few Sundays in his career, probably the ones he was most fond of. Signed, dated and dedicated.
