Original illustration made by Porcheddu for his famous "Pinocchio" published by Paravia Editore in 1942. In this scene Pinocchio finds himself in chains taken by a farmer, forced to act as a guard dog for his hens. One of the most beautiful graphic reinterpretations of the classic Collodian ever made, thanks also to Porcheddu's brilliant intuition of trichromatism that gives the entire work a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere.
