Original concept artwork created by Papuzza for the movie poster of "Star Wars", directed by George Lucas with Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher in 1977. This artwork was used as the cover for the book/essay "Star Wars" by George Lucas and Alan Dean Foster published by Club Degli Editori in 1978. Papuzza created four alternative versions to the definitive one famous throughout the world; this is the second to ever appear on the market, the first was sold at auction in 2018 by the American auction house Heritage for 26,000 USD. On the back there are some indications in pencil from the art director to Papuzza regarding the elements of the drawing to be modified for the definitive version. Minor dents on the left corners. Two small traces of professional restoration on the lower white margin (where there was probably an abrasion of the paper). Signed.
