Straight, single-and-false-edged blade, with fuller, engraved with eagle and Savoy coat of arms between trophies and floral motifs, the tang marked "F. HÖRSTER SOLINGEN". Typical iron hilt, fully engraved with floral motifs, anatomical ebony grip. Iron scabbard, the upper part completely engraved with Savoy coat of arms and others with fleur-de-lis, coat of arms of Rome and others under a crown, busts of three kings of Italy, all between floral motifs. Two suspension rings. Beautiful sword probably donated by a Corps of Soldiers to the commander.
