Round, rifled barrel, 18 mm cal. at the nozzle with octagonal base (bore needs cleaning, clearly visible rifling along the entire length), with foresight, club guide for the bayonet, foldaway and adjustable rear sight, featuring the date "1858", markings "C. 17. 6", numbered "435", with remains of other marks. Breech numbered en suite. Lock marked "F.lli Mazzocchi Roma". Working mechanism. Long wooden stock stamped "A 435" on the blade. Iron mounts, all stamped "435" and with marks". Various screws with the same number. Butt plate with screw with dot. Some pitting. Iron ramrod. Complete with sabre-bow (length: 69.3 cm) with the rare matching number "435" marked both on the crossbar and on the blade; iron scabbard with different numbering. Very rare and interesting.
