Smoothbore, round barrel, with brass foresight, octagonal breech bearing the mark of the Liège test bench, 17 mm. cal. at the nozzle. Lock converted to percussion, marked "O" under crown. Working mechanism. Long wooden stock stamped "S" and "LB" and with clearly visible Papal stamp. Brass mounts marked "D", trigger guard with "O" surmounted by crown. Iron ramrod.
