Straight, single-and-false-edged blade (some pitting) with double, deep groove, tang with control mark; brass hilt with four loop-guards, the external one marked "422", short, smooth cap; leather-covered, wooden grip with few remains of metal wire binding; iron scabbard with two suspension rings. Very rare. A similar sword published in "Armi Bianche Napoletane 1800 - 1860" by Tiziano Tonelli and P. Conti.
