Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with wide central fuller and back groove, with the mark of the Royal Factory on one side of the tang, and "B" mark and date "1839" on the other side. Brass hilt marked "4S. 67." and numbered. Leather-covered, wooden grip, with brass wire binding. Cap with remains of numbers. Iron scabbard (some pitting) with two lugs, numbered like the quillon.
