Impressive steel structure, with no edge, well reflecting the proportions of the '55, with fuller doubling at the weak. Finely engraved strong on both faces with floral motifs, cannon trophies, flags and drums, and on the right side with the Savoy coat of arms crowned and set among laurel branches. Tang marked "SOLINGEN" with inscription "SCHNITZLER & KIRSCHBAUM". Curved and marked tang, with a small button. Very rare.
