Brass hilt, shell-guard with royal coat of arms with motto "JE MAINTIENDRAI", partially pierced. The rest of the hilt decorated with floral motifs in relief. Grips made of mother-of-pearl. Leather scabbard painted white (missing parts of colour) with brass mounts decorated en suite.
