Interesting blade from the pre-unification period (circa 1848), straight, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller in the central segment, bearing in the first half floral engravings and the mottoes "VIVA L'ITALIA" and "VIVA L'UNIONE", at the base mark "LOLLINI IN BOLOGNA". Some small areas with pitting. Hilt for a "Bersagliere" officer, made of brass, late 19th century, cap shaped as a lion's head and anatomical ebony grip. Iron scabbard with slight pitting and a bump; two lugs.
