Straight blade engraved with the Savoy coat of arms, Savoy eagle, trophies and floral motifs. Marked 'G. Gilardoni Milano' at the base. Brass and gilt hilt with Savoy shield under crown on shell-guard, pommel shaped as a large lion's head. Grip with mother-of-pearl grips. Complete with leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts and two suspension rings.
