Magis Production

Pipe: an essential, practical, resistant and timeless chair. Developed by Jasper Morrison for Magis in 2009, the Pipe chair is the perfect expression of the designer's design thinking, according to which successful objects are not the result of purely aesthetic or functional decisions, but are the combination of these two. The designer's job is therefore not to invent a form, but to apply it in the right place and at the right time, without forgetting the object's utility.

Magis
A history of projects, creativity and experimentation. Since 1976. Born in North East Italy as a family-run company, it has become a large design laboratory for the home, outdoors, office and contract and a global player in design. A concrete idea of design, without fear of daring. Because the drive towards ever-new ideas, languages and production systems leads this company towards uncompromising design, capable of lasting over time, with an eye on the past, from which Magis loves to draw, and a gaze towards a new, sustainable and timeless future.
