As Giovanna Ginex writes about the work: "Transposed landscape, constructed in full absolute field with a horizontal band system; the vanishing point, central, is constituted by the little cloud in the center of the sky from which the gaze of the viewer moves. The small moon measures the space and is the only naturalistic "figurative" element in a composition that is a premonition of total evaporation".
