A 20" rifled, round barrel, featuring two-line marking with Hartford company address and patents up to 1883 between crosses preceded by “ELLIOT'S PATENT”, provided with foresight and adjustable and foldaway rear sight, with calibre marking on side "32 Cal." (probably 32-20). Working mechanism. Frame with company horse rampant and sling swivel on left side. Wooden butt and checkered fore-end. Serial number "73xxx" in the lower tang. With approx. 75% browning (probably earlier). Some pitting to the butt-plate. This piece has uncommon features.
